Microsoft Office
This is the most popular office suite of the lot.
Although quite expensive its feature set and compatibility with
other users is not surpassed.
Microsoft Works
This is a cut down version of Microsoft Office.
Since it does include the full version of Microsoft Word it may be of
interest to people who do not use the other options.
OpenOffice.org
This is a powerful yet completely free Office Suite. If you do not require 100% compatibility with Microsoft Office then you may like to consider Openoffice.org as it provides the feel of Microsoft Office without the expense.
